Tonna Mechanical, Inc Commercial HVAC Foreman in Rochester, Minnesota
Job Duties
· Lead commercial HVAC installation projects and replacement work
· Supervise and support field crews and apprentices
· Read and interpret blueprints, plans, layouts, and mechanical drawings
· Coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower for each phase of the job
· Measure and submit duct fittings for fabrication
· Ensure work is completed according to code, safety, and quality standards
· Communicate effectively with Project Managers, supervisors, general contractors, and team members
· Identify and communicate jobsite issues, delays, or changes in a timely manner
· Help keep projects on schedule and progressing efficiently
· Maintain organized, safe, and professional jobsites
Qualifications
· Experience leading commercial HVAC projects and field crews
· Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment and ductwork installation
· Basic knowledge of current mechanical codes
· Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and symbols
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work well with general contractors, coworkers, and apprentices
· Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented
· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
· 1+ years of experience running commercial projects or replacements
· Basic understanding of project flow and the construction process
· Experience planning manpower and organizing materials for efficient project execution
Minimum Education Required
High School / GED, HVAC Certification / Trade School
