Motor City Landscaping Design/Build General Landscape Laborer in Rochester Hills, Michigan
We are seeking hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented individuals to join our landscaping team. As a Landscape Laborer, you will assist in the installation and maintenance of landscaping elements, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. This role requires physical labor, outdoor work, and the ability to follow directions from the Landscape Foreman or Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Landscaping & Maintenance:
- Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscaping elements.
- Remove weeds, rake leaves, and maintain garden beds.
- Assist in the installation of hardscape elements such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
Equipment Operation:
- Safely operate landscape tools and equipment such as, trimmers, blowers, and rakes.
- Help maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
Site Preparation:
- Assist with grading, leveling soil, and preparing land for planting and construction.
- Dig trenches, holes, and other excavations as needed for installation projects.
Safety & Cleanliness:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
- Ensure that the job site is kept clean and free of debris.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to the Foreman or Supervisor.
Team Support:
- Work as part of a team to complete landscaping tasks efficiently and according to project timelines.
- Follow instructions from the Landscape Foreman or Project Manager to complete daily tasks.
