Spectrum Comm Inc Materiel Manager Specialist - Journeyman in Robins Air Force Base, Georgia
The Materiel Management Specialist position supports Enterprise Contract Logistics Services (ECLS) in support of the Command, Control, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C2ISR) Division, AFLCMC/HBG, at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. The ECLS performance tasks include functioning as the Service Provider (SP) at the enterprise level for Materiel Management and Warehousing and other Supply Chain Management (SCM) activities as required by the C2ISR weapon systems.
Job Responsibilities:
Performs supply materiel management aggregation functions
Coordinates material support; knowledge of material, work sequences, and schedules in shops or other industrial operations, and the specialized needs of the programs or operational areas supported
Determines initiates, and coordinates required actions by establishing and maintaining liaison with inventory managers, contractors or vendors, and planning organizations to schedule or advise as to timing of procurement, delivery, or emergency transportation
Performs item and monetary accounting and inventory stock control
Responsible for financial planning, funds control, requirements computation, allowances determination, research and identification of supplies and equipment
Responsible for demand processing, mission support, the customer service unit, retail sales, mobility, and training
Performs and monitors management (and procedural application) of manual or automated inventory control actions
Computes and accumulates data for use in analysis
Helps develop work standards and methodology
Performs inventories, and ensures timely correction of discrepancies
Prepares, analyzes, and evaluates reports, procedures, and policy data
Computes requirement, determines allowance, and researches and identifies supplies and equipment requirements
Performs operations involved in storage, inspection, identification, and receipt of property
Plans and determines the distribution and positioning of supplies among major supply stations, stock points, or using activities.
Requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
Must be able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance
High School diploma or equivalency required
Relevant experience required
Must be a US citizen
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Active DoD SECRET clearance
Prior AFSC 2SX1 Military Occupational Classification or other DoD service Supply Chain and Materiel Management Specialist equivalent highly desired
1+ years of direct Supply Chain and Materiel Management experience
