Job Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Contract Administrator to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a key liaison between our organization, clients, and contractors, ensuring seamless contract execution and project success. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining transparency and compliance throughout the contract lifecycle. You will be responsible for managing contract documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, and resolving issues efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Review, analyze, and interpret contract documents, specifications, and technical drawings to ensure clarity and compliance with project requirements
Coordinate and manage contract administration activities, including the issuance of Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Change Directives, and Site Instructions
Monitor contractor performance, quality standards, and code compliance throughout the project lifecycle
Process and certify contractor payment applications, manage invoices, and maintain statutory holdbacks in accordance with applicable regulations
Support change order negotiations and assist with delay and claims resolution through thorough documentation and analysis
Maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation and ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory standards
Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning activities while providing timely project updates to all stakeholders
Document and participate in project meetings, capturing action items and decisions for transparent communication
Collaborate with project teams, clients, and contractors to identify and resolve technical and administrative issues promptly
Manage contract records and maintain organized filing systems for easy retrieval and audit purposes
Support risk, schedule, and cost management initiatives by providing accurate data and timely reporting
Serve as a primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all stakeholder interactions
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
6+ years of contract administration experience in a professional capacity, preferably in construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects
Professional certification or relevant degree (such as C.E.T, P.Eng, or equivalent qualification recognized in Saudi Arabia or internationally)
Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and analyze construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
Strong knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and contract law relevant to project delivery
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders
Proficiency with computer systems and contract management software; strong Microsoft Office skills
Proven ability to work collaboratively in team environments and respond effectively to changing project demands
Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure while maintaining professional composure
Preferred Qualifications:
8 years of contract administration experience in field or office-based roles on complex projects
Comprehensive understanding of construction project sequencing, including mobilization, design reviews, construction, commissioning, and closeout phases
Experience managing change orders, negotiating contract modifications, and supporting dispute resolution
Proven experience with payment certifications, invoice processing, and statutory holdback management
Background in claims management and risk mitigation strategies
Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities
Familiarity with Saudi Arabian business practices, regulations, and contract requirements
Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
Experience with document management systems and digital record-keeping
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to find collaborative solutions
Background in quality assurance and quality control documentation management
