Job Description
We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Architect Inspector to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of building systems and components, ensuring compliance with architectural specifications, Saudi Building Code, and international standards. You will play a critical role in maintaining the highest quality standards for our construction and renovation projects while providing professional guidance to project teams and stakeholders. Your analytical expertise and meticulous attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional results and ensure the integrity of every project.
Conduct thorough inspections of building systems, structural elements, architectural components, and overall construction quality against established specifications and standards
Verify compliance with Saudi Building Code, international standards (ISO, ASTM, or equivalent), and project-specific requirements
Document inspection findings, deficiencies, and corrective actions using detailed reports, photographic evidence, and digital documentation systems
Analyze construction materials, installation methods, workmanship quality, and building envelope integrity against industry best practices
Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers to address inspection findings and implement effective corrective measures
Prepare comprehensive inspection reports with clear recommendations, timelines for remediation, and technical justifications
Maintain organized and accessible records of all inspections, test results, compliance documentation, and project correspondence
Communicate inspection results, technical findings, and recommendations to clients and project stakeholders in a clear and professional manner
Identify potential safety hazards, structural concerns, and code violations, recommending preventive measures and remediation strategies
Utilize CAD software, building information modeling (BIM) tools, and inspection documentation systems to organize, analyze, and present findings
Coordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure consistent inspection protocols and standards across all projects
Stay current with evolving building codes, industry standards, technological advancements, and best practices in architectural inspection
Manage multiple inspection projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and professional standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related engineering discipline
Minimum 15 years of professional experience in architectural inspection, building assessment, quality assurance, or related field
Comprehensive knowledge of building systems, structural components, architectural elements, and construction methodologies
Strong understanding of Saudi Building Code and international building standards (ISO, ASTM, or equivalent)
Proficiency with CAD software and digital documentation systems for inspection reporting and project management
Demonstrated experience preparing detailed inspection reports and technical documentation
Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment (moisture meters, thermal imaging cameras, measuring devices, etc.)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to articulate technical findings to diverse audiences
Professional demeanor with exceptional client-facing and stakeholder communication abilities
Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple inspection projects simultaneously
Knowledge of construction safety regulations, building codes, and industry best practices
Strong time management and organizational skills with ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Ability to make decisive recommendations based on technical analysis and professional judgment
Preferred: Professional certification in building inspection, architectural inspection, or related field
Preferred: Experience with building information modeling (BIM) and project management software
Preferred: Arabic language proficiency
