As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Main Gate in Riverview, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site contacts, document observations, and respond to concerns with calm, customer-focused service. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, process areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor and respond to alarms, calls for service, and other security-related incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor directions, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries per site procedures.
Complete timely, accurate documentation including patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, escalating concerns through the chain of command as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
A guard card/license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
