Job Description:
Ensures the development, deployment, and continual improvement of an ISO 9001-compliant quality management system and a CMS-compliant Quality Assessment/Performance Improvement program.
Manages continued, uninterrupted accreditation/certification from accrediting bodies to retain deemed status and comply with all reporting requirements.
Directs the development and execution of a Document Control & Knowledge Management program in partnership with senior leadership.
Oversees the coordination of quality governance committees, including Clinical Performance Committee, Board Patient Safety and Quality Committee, and QAPI.
Directs the cost-effective operation of the Quality Systems department, including budget preparation and management, strategic priorities alignment, and communication plans.
Coordinates the planning process with senior clinical and medical leaders to identify, prioritize, select, and plan quality systems initiatives.
Assists the Chief Safety Officer in developing and executing the quality, risk, safety, and transformation strategy with a focus on industry best practices.
Serves as the organization-wide content expert on quality systems and imparts relevant details to senior leaders and quality staff.
Oversees ongoing and periodic assessments to identify opportunities for systems improvement and communicates such opportunities to senior leadership.
Identifies and recommends opportunities to promote the organization’s brand through public reporting or other recognition efforts.
Oversees and manages the peer review department for the medical staff, ensuring coordination with data analytics for credentialing and periodic reviews.
Designs, establishes, and maintains an organizational structure and staffing to accomplish the organization's goals and objectives, including recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating staff.

Experience in Performance Improvement - Statistical Data Analysis. [Required]
Education in Performance Improvement such as Team Leader, Facilitator experience, Malcolm Baldrige, and LEAN Six Sigma. [Required]
Continuing Education Requirements: Minimum of 20 hours of in-service or continuing education per two-year period and any additional training needed to develop core competencies. [Required]
If not certified in Quality Management upon hire, must complete certification within one year of hire. [Required]
Education:
Bachelor's in Medical Records, Health Information Management, Nusring, or Health Administration [Required]
Master's [Preferred]
Work Experience:
- 3+ in healthcare related management [Required]
Licenses and Certifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] OR
Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact - RN (ENLC-RN) [Required]
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) [Preferred]

Pay Range:
$110,702.15 - $205,911.28
