Description
Monte Package Company, a Bunzl company providing packaging solutions to the produce industry, is looking for a Label Loader to perform all tasks involved in the production of the company’s products while following the standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Responsibilities:
Review incoming production sheets and ensure correct labels are in stock.
Effectively set up and maintain labels on production lines
Keep accurate and complete records associated with production orders and ensure labels match production orders
Identify and troubleshoot common label loading issues
Work closely with production line workers and warehouse workers to ensure minimal downtime while loading labels
Maintain a neat and orderly work area at all times free from debris
Maintain equipment as required and notify management of any maintenance or repairs required
Perform all work in accordance with food safety procedures
Requirements:
Forklift experience required; prior experience using a label machine nice to have
Ability to read, write and comprehend complex written or oral instructions and correspondence in English.
Ability to perform common mathematical skills for calculating label runs
Knowledge of and ability to read production schedules and label codes
Must stand for long periods of time
Repetitive/frequent motion of upper body using hands and lower arms
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
Will also engage in frequent bending and separating/pulling of containers
Must be able to work in an environment of varying temperatures
