Amergis Educational Staffing is currently seeking School-Based Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) for per diem, on-call assignments supporting Kâ12 school districts in the Riverside, CA area. This role is ideal for LVNs looking for flexible, as-needed work in a school setting.
School-based LVNs play a critical role in supporting student health, safety, and access to education during the school day.
Responsibilities:
Provide nursing services to students during the school day
Support students with medical needs, including medication administration and health monitoring
Follow individualized healthcare plans (IHPs), emergency care plans, and physician orders
Respond to student health concerns and assist with first aid and illness/injury assessments
Document all nursing services accurately and in compliance with district and state requirements
Collaborate with school staff, families, and administrators as needed
Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive school health environment
Float between school sites within the Riverside area, as assigned
Requirements:
Active California LVN license
Current CPR/First Aid certification
School-based or pediatric experience preferred (not required)
Ability to work flexible, per diem/on-call assignments
Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Ability to follow district policies and healthcare protocols
Reliable transportation for travel between school sites
