Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Riverside, California

Description We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support customers through detail-oriented, responsive communication and reliable follow-through. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving service setting, enjoys helping customers resolve issues, and can manage a steady volume of phone-based interactions while maintaining accuracy and consistency.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a large number of incoming and outgoing customer calls while delivering courteous and efficient service

• Address customer questions, provide clear service-related information, and coordinate appointments or service requests as needed

• Record details of customer conversations, updates, and next steps accurately in company systems

• Work closely with internal departments to help resolve customer concerns within expected timeframes

• Maintain a composed, customer-focused approach when handling urgent requests or high-call-volume periods

• Support order-related and service-related data entry tasks with strong attention to detail

• Use Microsoft Office and service management tools to track activity, update records, and communicate effectively with team members Requirements • Previous experience in customer service, call center support, or a similar customer-facing role

• Demonstrated ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls in a high-volume environment

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented and empathetic approach

• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize work in a busy service setting

• Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel

• Comfort using service management, order entry, or customer tracking systems

• Industry experience in plumbing, home services, or a related field is preferred TalentMatch®
