Electrical Maintenance Technician
1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
$35–$40/hour + Overtime (up to 55 hours/week)

We’re looking for a hands‑on, technically strong professional to support and maintain electrical, control, and mechanical systems in a large‑scale industrial facility. This role offers top‑tier hourly pay , consistent first‑shift hours , and plenty of overtime for those who want it .
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to keeping operations running smoothly, safely, and efficiently:
Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical equipment including motors, breakers, transformers, switches, relays, wiring, PLCs, lighting, and UPS systems
Maintain and calibrate instrumentation such as transmitters, valves, flow meters, and sensors
Diagnose and resolve issues with electrical, motor, and control systems , ensuring equipment reliability and safety
Perform preventive maintenance , emergency repairs, machine start‑ups, and system adjustments
Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs , control circuits (12/24VDC & 120VAC), VFDs , and industrial power distribution (240/480 VAC)
Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals; update documentation and electrical drawings as needed
Complete and prioritize work orders related to control systems, motors, and mechanical equipment
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, project management, and operations teams
Use Windows‑based systems, Excel, AutoCAD, and industrial software for documentation and reporting
Safely operate power tools and perform conduit work, panel repairs, installations, and modifications
Follow OSHA, EPA, NFPA 70 , and site safety standards; participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts
Manage parts inventory, prepare documentation, and handle administrative tasks related to maintenance activities
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong background in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting
Hands‑on experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial electrical systems
Solid understanding of ladder logic, function block programming, PLC hardware, and tagging structures
Familiarity with Rockwell Automation software
Working knowledge of industrial networking and control systems
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (bending, twisting, lifting up to 60 lbs.)
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly
Excellent knowledge of Lockout/Tagout and workplace safety procedures
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree in Electronics or Electrical Technology , or a Certificate/Diploma with 2+ years in an industrial/manufacturing environment
OR
3+ years of proven, hands‑on experience in electrical or industrial maintenance
Comfortable working in indoor/outdoor industrial environments, including areas requiring respirator use
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules as needed

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
