Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
Join our team as a Production Worker in a dynamic environment where we manufacture wire mesh fencing. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is safety-oriented and dedicated to maintaining high standards in production. Your role will involve manually loading materials, observing machine operations, and detecting malfunctions to ensure a smooth workflow.
Responsibilities
Load and unload parts/material consistently.
Lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Stack materials efficiently.
Assemble wire mesh nets and thread wire mesh together.
Observe equipment operations to detect malfunctions and notify operators.
Essential Skills
Experience in production and general labor.
Proficiency in machine operation and assembly.
Ability to handle hand tools and power tools.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform visual inspections.
Material handling and inventory management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Forklift operation experience is a plus.
Familiarity with packaging and packing processes.
Ability to read blueprints and use tape measures.
Work Environment
Work in an industrial setting with shifts available: Day (7AM – 3:30PM, Monday-Friday) and Night (11PM - 7:30AM, Sunday-Thursday). The environment can be hot in summer and cold in winter. PPE is crucial, including steel toes, eye protection, gloves, and jeans. Ear protection is optional, and hard hats are required in crane areas.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rio Rancho, NM.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.25/hr.
