The team you will be a part of

The Engineering team discovers, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements, or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.

This role in summary

The Project Manager, Sr Analyst - Laundry, Cooking and Dish Categories in Rio Claro is responsible for leading regional projects from conception to launch within these categories. The role involves managing cross-functional teams, adhering to the Whirlpool Product Development (WPD), communicating with stakeholders, managing risks, optimizing resource allocation, and championing continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Lead and manage projects end-to-end, from conception to completion, ensuring on-time, on-budget, on-cost, on-quality and in-scope delivery.

  • Clearly define and communicate project objectives, goals, and deliverables to team members and stakeholders.

  • Develop detailed project plans, including schedules and risk management plans.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, manufacturing, procurement, quality, consumer care, finance, and consumer design.

  • Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary.

  • Effectively manage project budget and resources, optimizing performance and minimizing waste.

  • Conduct regular project reviews and report status to senior stakeholders.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project team.

  • Ensure project adherence with WPD (Whirlpool Product Development).

  • Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and quality requirements.

Minimum requirements

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the durable consumer goods industry.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Advanced English, both spoken and written.

Preferred skills and experiences

  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Administration)

  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum).

  • Ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.

  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making facilitation abilities.

  • Proficiency in Project Management related tools (e.g., Smartsheet, PPM, etc).

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced/uncertain environment.

This position is located at Rio Claro, about 02 hours away from São Paulo in an important industrial center of the state.

At this plant is located the production of Washing-Machines, Stoves, Ovens and Cooktops, also located here is the Dish and Washing Machines Tecnology Center and the Finished Products Distribution Center.
