The team you will be a part of
The Engineering team discovers, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements, or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.
This role in summary
This role focuses on leading cost reduction and quality improvement projects for our automatic washing machines by optimizing product design and collaborating across engineering and manufacturing teams.
Your responsibilities will include
Design for Value: Lead cost reduction initiatives through strategic design optimization and smart material selection.
Quality Leadership: Drive product performance improvements by analyzing data and addressing design-related issues.
Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply, and Marketing to ensure design changes are implemented smoothly and effectively.
Engineering Problem Solving: Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis for product defects and propose robust engineering solution
Minimum requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Language : Advanced English proficiency is required for global collaboration.
Preferred skills and experiences
Multilingual: Basic Spanish proficiency is a significant plus.
Assertive Communication: The ability to convey complex technical ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Decision Making: Confidence in making data-driven choices that impact product trajectory.
Negotiation: The capacity to influence partners and reach agreements that benefit the product's quality and cost.
