Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Training and Development Coordinator to join our Human Resources team in Ridgely, MD. This role supports the planning, coordination, and administration of employee training programs and compliance requirements across the organization.

The Coordinator plays a key role in tracking required trainings, supporting onboarding and annual training initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards.

This position collaborates closely with department leaders and the HR team to advance workforce development initiatives aligned with our mission to help children and adults with developmental disabilities achieve their greatest potential.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain reliable attendance and demonstrate professionalism aligned with our Core Values: Dignity, Integrity, Collaboration, and Excellence Coordinate and track new hire and ongoing compliance training to achieve organizational compliance goals (95% or higher) Maintain accurate training records and documentation in employee files and training databases Run and distribute compliance reports; follow up with departments regarding outstanding training requirements Assist with training needs assessments and data compilation Coordinate logistics for internal and external training sessions (scheduling, materials, attendance tracking, room setup) Assist with development and delivery of training programs, including supervisory and mandatory annual trainings Administer approved assessment tools and maintain related documentation Track and support the annual performance review process Maintain and update training resource materials and learning libraries Conduct internal audits of training files to ensure compliance with agency, state, and accreditation standards Prepare training reports for HR leadership Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance Additional Responsibilities

Support HR leadership during inspections, audits, and investigations Assist with onboarding and orientation training processes Cooperate with administration and regulatory agencies during inspections or investigations Complete mandatory trainings and maintain required certifications/licenses Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered) 2-3 years of experience in training coordination, HR, compliance, or related administrative role preferred Skills and Competencies:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Experience with HRIS or Learning Management Systems preferred Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Effective communication and facilitation skills Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion Requirements:

Minimum age of 21 Must pass pre-employment drug screen Must pass required background screenings, including CJIS (Family Law Article 5-561) Strong commitment to the mission of supporting children and adults with developmental disabilities Physical Requirements
