Member Service Representative -- Ridgeland, MS Full-Time | Monday -- Friday | 8:15 AM -- 5:00 PM | No Weekends
Brightview Credit Union is seeking a dependable and service-driven Member Service Representative (MSR) to join our Ridgeland, MS branch. Responsibilities
Member Engagement Greet members professionally in person and over the phone and serve as a trusted resource for account questions, services, and financial solutions.
Membership and Account Support Open new accounts and assist existing members with account maintenance. Explain account features and help members select solutions that best fit their financial needs.
Debit Card and Account Assistance Assist with debit card activations, replacements, and troubleshooting. Guide members through reporting lost or stolen cards and unauthorized transactions.
Account Maintenance and Processing Process address changes, beneficiary updates, and account maintenance requests accurately while maintaining complete and compliant member records.
Problem Resolution Listen carefully to member concerns and provide thoughtful solutions or appropriate escalation. Deliver service that strengthens member trust and satisfaction.
Team Collaboration Work closely with branch teammates to support operational goals while contributing to a positive and professional work environment.
Performance Incentives Participate in incentive opportunities recognizing service excellence and contributions to member satisfaction and credit union growth.

MSR I builds a strong foundation in credit union operations while developing core member service skills and transaction knowledge.
MSR II expands responsibility by allowing employees to independently handle more complex member requests and deepen product and operational expertise.
MSR III represents advanced proficiency, where representatives manage comprehensive member needs, open memberships, and serve as experienced resources and mentors within the branch.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial transactions and member information.
- Customer service experience required; financial institution experience preferred.
- Comfort working with banking systems and technology platforms.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Basic understanding of financial products and services.
