Our client is a global, research-driven pharmaceutical manufacturer focusing on treatment options for diseases and conditions for which there is no satisfactory treatment option to date. The company is looking for a Scientist II (Immunology) to join the team. This is an amazing opportunity to work on cutting edge treatments and make a difference!

Location: Fairfield County, CT

Pay rate: $40 and $42/hr.

Job type: 2-year contract

Responsibilities

  • Apply and develop molecular biology methods to validate T cell targets

  • Design, execute, and troubleshoot laboratory experiments

  • Analyze experimental data and clearly communicate findings

  • Collaborate with oncology research team members to support projects and decisions

  • Learn and apply advanced lab technologies as needed

  • Prepare and deliver internal presentations and contribute to scientific publications

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab equipment

  • Follow safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  • Maintain accurate and compliant laboratory records

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Immunology, Oncology, or a related scientific field

  • Strong understanding of molecular and cellular biology concepts

  • Hands-on experience with:

  • Aseptic cell culture

  • Immune cell isolation

  • ELISA / MSD / AlphaLISA assays

  • RT-qPCR

  • Western blot

  • Experience with multi-color flow cytometry (preferred)

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Prism)

  • Ability to troubleshoot experiments and solve technical problems

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a research team
