Our client is a global, research-driven pharmaceutical manufacturer focusing on treatment options for diseases and conditions for which there is no satisfactory treatment option to date. The company is looking for a Scientist II (Immunology) to join the team. This is an amazing opportunity to work on cutting edge treatments and make a difference!
Location: Fairfield County, CT
Pay rate: $40 and $42/hr.
Job type: 2-year contract
Responsibilities
Apply and develop molecular biology methods to validate T cell targets
Design, execute, and troubleshoot laboratory experiments
Analyze experimental data and clearly communicate findings
Collaborate with oncology research team members to support projects and decisions
Learn and apply advanced lab technologies as needed
Prepare and deliver internal presentations and contribute to scientific publications
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab equipment
Follow safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Maintain accurate and compliant laboratory records
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Immunology, Oncology, or a related scientific field
Strong understanding of molecular and cellular biology concepts
Hands-on experience with:
Aseptic cell culture
Immune cell isolation
ELISA / MSD / AlphaLISA assays
RT-qPCR
Western blot
Experience with multi-color flow cytometry (preferred)
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Prism)
Ability to troubleshoot experiments and solve technical problems
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a research team
