As the Child Care/Outreach and Education Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:

  • Provide child care activities for children of all ages when their parent has appointments related to their status as a victim of domestic violence. Provide respite when adult victims need short term respite.

  • Plan age appropriate activities for children of all ages for child care sessions.

  • Plan and facilitate one child play group per week; more when necessary.

  • Compile list of community activities and resources for families in the county for recreational and educational activities. Update regularly and share with families.

  • Cover the 24-hour crisis hotline on a rotating basis.

    Child Care/Outreach and Education Coordinator Hourly Pay: $20.88

    Child Care/Outreach and Education Coordinator Schedule : Monday-Wednesday, Friday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Thursday 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM Subject to call

    Qualifications:

  • 2 year/ Associate Degree in Human Resources or related field, Bachelor's preferred

  • 1-3 years experience

  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
