Warehouse Associate

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Assignment Type: Onsite

Position Type: Full-Time | Contract/Temporary

Adecco is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to join a fast-paced warehouse and transportation team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring freight moves efficiently and accurately through the facility. You’ll work alongside an experienced management team that understands the transportation industry and values safety, teamwork, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with shipping and receiving operations , including unloading trucks and checking in incoming merchandise

  • Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute orders to the appropriate team members for processing

  • Read and interpret customer orders, shipping orders, and work orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or shipped

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment for employees and customers

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures while completing daily tasks

  • Assist with product assembly and inventory counts as needed

  • Take check calls from drivers and confirm loads will deliver on time

  • Validate load information prior to marking deliveries complete for accounting purposes

  • Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries , ensuring freight arrives on time and in good condition

Qualifications

  • Basic written and verbal communication skills

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to follow instructions provided in written, verbal, or diagram form

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Preferred Experience

  • Previous dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry

  • Experience loading and unloading trailers

  • Experience using handheld scanners

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs

  • Ability to load and unload trucks and remain active throughout the shift

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
