TEKsystems Project Manager Assistant in Richmond, Virginia

Project Manager Assistant / Project Coordinator / Project Administrator

Pay: $30–$36/hr, based on experience

Schedule: 7:00am–3:30pm, M-F

Location: on-site, Sandston area

Industry: National low‑voltage & communications infrastructure contractor

About the Role

We’re seeking a detail‑oriented Project Manager Assistant to support low‑voltage construction projects. You’ll work closely with Project Managers and a small office team (approx. 10 people) to keep project documentation, financials, and administrative workflows running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain project files, documentation, and correspondence

  • Assist with billing, invoicing, purchasing, and financial recordkeeping

  • Support timekeeping, labor tracking, and project reporting

  • Prepare required documents for customers and internal teams

  • Update spreadsheets and verify project data for accuracy

  • Ensure administrative tasks meet contractual and company standards

Requirements

  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs required)

  • 2+ years as a Project Coordinator/Assistant

  • Construction/Accounting experience a a plus, but not required

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

This is a Permanent position based out of Richmond, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $74880.00/yr.

Full Time Benefits upon starting onsite
