QPS EMPLOYMENT GROUP Enclosure Assembler in RICHMOND, Illinois
JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Assemble electrical and mechanical enclosures using hand and power tools - Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions - Install components such as panels, brackets, hardware, wiring trays, terminal blocks, and gaskets - Drill, tap, cut, and modify enclosure parts as needed based on customer or engineering requirements - Ensure proper fit, alignment, and sealing of enclosure components - Perform basic wiring tasks such as routing cables, mounting hardware, or preparing leads - Inspect completed enclosures for quality, accuracy, and proper labeling - Operate material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks or overhead lifts when needed - Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work area - Collaborate with production teams to meet daily schedules and order deadlines ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - Prior assembly, mechanical, or electrical experience preferred - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or simple wiring diagrams - Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and reaching - Commitment to safe work practices - Manufacturing or assembly floor environment - Use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: teresa.considine@qpsemployment.com Apply Online: https://jobs.qpsemployment.com/jobs/805734 This position is listed by a private employment agency.
