Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team in the Greater Charleston Area. As one of the largest civil site contractors in the region, we offer the advantage of limited travel requirements, allowing you to return home every night. Our focus is on teamwork and flexibility, ensuring that each team member contributes to the successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, track hoes, and excavators on various civil site projects.
Assist with manual labor tasks when required, including shoveling, trench work, and loading/unloading supplies and equipment.
Participate actively in all aspects of the project, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
Maintain a reliable presence on site with punctuality and a positive attitude.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience operating heavy equipment, including dozers, excavators, and graders.
Experience with fine grading is highly preferred.
Familiarity with GPS technology is preferred.
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends if necessary.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience in civil site and utility construction.
Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond Hill, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
