Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Program Qualification Assistant within the Technical Internal Support (TIS) team,
located in Richmond, CA through 5/1/2026 at 11:59 p.m.
This role is for a Program Qualification Assistant (PA) in the Technical Internal Support (TIS) team. The role is to support the program managers in TIS by executing blend requests, scheduling engine and bench tests, inputting data and various related tasks. Program Qualification Assistants may work with one or more of the program managers on the TIS team. The primary tasks include:
Request blends based on guidance from program managers, ensure components for blending are available and interact with LOB/BSS/COTJ to ensure timing meets program requirements: 20%
Ensure blends are shipped to the appropriate labs. 5%
Review incoming data. Provide data support for program workbooks: 25%
Schedule engine and bench tests at internal and external labs based on guidance from the program managers. Ensure appropriate registration is completed. 30%
Provide data integrity checks on candidate data packages, the primary TIS work product, to prepare for the annual ACC audit: 10%
Participating in non-program projects (process improvements, tool enhancements/integration): 10%
Typical Product Qualification (PQ) programs vary between minor (<$25,000 and <10 tests) to significant ($2+ MM and hundreds of tests) in scope and complexity. The Program Qualification Assistant’s role is vital to the successful execution and completion of these program. The program test and blending plan will be designed by the program manager. The execution is performed by the Program Qualification Assistant after guidance from the program manager.
The following qualifications are critical for success in this role:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and execute multiple projects in parallel
Effective communication skills and ability to work closely with engineers and chemists
Proficiency in handling, organizing, and working with data.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
Creative problem‑solving skills with the ability to remove barriers and improve efficiency
Relocation
Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.

Expatriate assignments will not be considered.

· The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,100– $120,100. The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on their skills, experience, and qualifications.
