Responsibilities
Perform service, replacement, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems.
Properly stage jobs and adhere to quality and safety checklists.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-inventoried company vehicle.
Work independently or collaborate as a team with other journeypersons and apprentices.
Mentor and train HVAC and Refrigeration apprentices.
Participate actively in all formal exercises and training to stay updated in your trade.
Essential Skills
Holder of Red Seal Refrigeration and B-Gas ticket (or equivalent) preferred.
5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC.
Experience in refrigeration and heating maintenance.
Service troubleshooting experience.
Complete knowledge of all tools, equipment, and materials needed to perform service on commercial refrigeration and all codes governing those services.
Class 5 license with a clean driving record.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Ability to pass a Police Background Check.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Foreman, plumber, institutional construction, and construction experience.
Red Seal and Gas-B ticket are nice to have.

Work Environment
Projects are currently located in North Vancouver and White Rock, with a travel allowance for commutes over 30 minutes. The work schedule typically starts at 7 or 7:30 AM for an 8-hour day, with minimal overtime or weekend work. The team is positive and the general contractor is known for excellent organization and adherence to schedules.

The pay range for this position is $112000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
