At Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau. The duties of the Regulatory Strategy Manager include, but not limited to: * Advising senior management of developments that could affect project schedule, costs, client relations, and inter-departmental or interdivisional relations. * Oversite and development of regulatory CERCLA characterization plans and monitoring. * Technical subcontractor management. * Manage development of environmental modeling and document development. * Lead a team on strategic plan development and decision documentation across vast customer interfaces including DOE, Ecology, and EPA. * Interface regularly with the customer and support mission critical strategy development with the regulators and DOE. * Prioritize contractors and coordinate schedule activities with conflicting priorities. * Integration of site priorities including characterization across the Hanford site along with site closures. * Provide overall program management including day to day decisions required to compliantly meet document deliverables and timelines. * Identifying process improvements, efficiencies, and overall schedule acceleration opportunities. * Creating and executing work plans and revising, as appropriate, to meet schedule needs. * Proactively managing changing scopes, identifying potential crises, and devising contingency plans. * Ensuring the staff are ready to execute the project mission objectives. * Coaching, mentoring, motivating and supervising project team members and contractors, and influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. * Establishing and maintaining work safely while ensuring environmental and quality goals are met. * Providing direction and oversight of personnel to meet goals in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner in accordance with all applicable requirements. * Defining the work activities that support the Regulatory Strategy and Integration program mission. * Ensuring technical procedures and other work-related documents are prepared and used to provide appropriate work direction and ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently. * Ensuring procedures incorporate appropriate controls for safe operation and environmental compliance, and personnel are trained commensurate with responsibilities. * Conducting periodic assessments and implementing actions to improve the performance of work. * Participating in employee development. * Ensuring documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
