Overview:

ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Nuclear Project Materials Coordinator coordinates the materials procurement process through all project phases. The role acts as a specialist, working with multiple project teams to ensure detailed knowledge of parts, tools, and materials is maintained to support the successful implementation of future and in-flight projects. Responsibilities include administrative tracking of materials identified during project design and planning, verification of parts when shipped to site, staging materials as required once received, and ensuring traceability is maintained when materials are issued from the warehouse. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA.

Pay range: $51.91 - $61.67

Responsibilities:

  • Support projects for refueling outages, forced outages, and online maintenance as assigned. This includes providing oversight of the material procurement process, including new Catalog identifications (CATIDs), Material Requests (MRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and coordinating with other departments to ensure work can be implemented as scheduled.

  • Develop, maintain, and improve materials tracking processes to clearly show the status of all known procurements of project parts, tools, and materials.

  • Inventory and inspect specialty vendor materials shipped to site to ensure proper quantity and quality requirements are as expected. This includes operation of hand and power tools.

  • Assist Supply Chain Services in the resolution of material shipping challenges and disruptions, including shortages and damaged and discrepancy (OSD&D) conditions.
