- Job #8339 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Nuclear Project Manager I will manage projects for refueling outages, forced outages, and online work, ensuring safe, high-quality execution on time and within budget. The role includes overseeing budgets, schedules, risk management, resource allocation, and compliance, while coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and deliver successful outcomes. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA. Pay rate: $47.79- $82.75 Benefits:

- Manage project activities for refueling outages, forced outages, and assigned online work, ensuring safe, high-quality execution on schedule and within budget.
- Oversee all aspects of project implementation, including:
- Budget development and cost tracking
- Work package preparation and parts procurement
- ALARA planning and industrial/nuclear safety compliance
- Clearance order preparation, work prioritization, resource allocation, and risk management
- Resolution of schedule delays and conflicts
- Develop and maintain project schedules aligned with complexity and scope to manage risk, track progress, enforce accountability, and control critical path and float.
- Interface regularly with clients, engineers, vendors, and management to ensure alignment and progress.
- Prepare and deliver clear written and oral communications to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
- Contribute to long-range planning strategies for assigned projects.
- Provide outage support, including participation in the Outage Control Center (OCC). Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university AND 8 years' experience in a technical field
- OR Associates degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from accredited college or university AND 10 years' experience in a technical field
- OR High School Diploma/GED AND 12 years' experience in a technical field
- RO/SRO License or CGS Management Certification
- Project Management Certification
- Construction Management Certification
- Experience as a direct supervisor or project manager in the commercial nuclear industry, focused on maintenance, operations, engineering, or construction
- Nuclear plant operator production coordination experience and work management experience in conducting and coordinating plant production work
- Knowledge of error reduction and human performance improvement methods, and cost-effective work execution methodologies
- Ability to manage projects, including online work management and refueling or forced outage activities
- Proficiency in standard project management techniques
- Experience at a commercial nuclear power plant or similar facility
- Familiarity with project management and budgeting software
