  • Job #8398 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Nuclear Project Coordinator will manage assigned small projects supporting refueling outages, forced outages, and online maintenance, ensuring safe, high quality execution on schedule and within budget. The role provides coordination across planning, execution, cost control, contracting, and outage support while ensuring compliance with nuclear, industrial, and ALARA safety requirements. This position collaborates closely with engineering, vendors, and leadership, and requires a solid foundation in project management principles, human performance, and cost effective work execution, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience supporting outage related or project execution activities. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA. Pay rate: $32.26 - $49 Benefits:

  • Manage assigned small projects supporting refueling outages, forced outages, and online maintenance, ensuring work is executed safely, with high quality, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Provide oversight and coordination for project planning, execution, monitoring, and control, including work package development, parts procurement, resource loading, and work prioritization.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, track costs against forecasts, and address schedule delays or conflicts to maintain project objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with industrial, nuclear, and ALARA safety requirements throughout all phases of project execution.
  • Coordinate closely with clients, engineers, vendors, and management to maintain alignment, progress, and issue resolution.
  • Develop and manage contracts, interface with vendors, and verify contractor performance.
  • Prepare and deliver clear written and verbal communications to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain long range planning strategies for assigned projects.
  • Support site self assessment and corrective action programs, including outage coordination center (OCC) support as needed. Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university AND 1 year of experience in a technical field
  • OR Associates degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from accredited college or university AND 3 years' experience in a technical field
  • OR High School Diploma/GED AND 5 years' experience in a technical field
  • Project Management Certification
  • Construction Management Certification
  • Working knowledge of basic project management principles and standard project controls.
  • Understanding of core values related to human performance, error reduction, and cost effective work execution.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with human performance improvement tools and error reduction methodologies.
  • Experience or exposure to project execution, online work management
