Accounts Receivable Specialist – Contract to Hire
Our team is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Richfield, Ohio. Key Responsibilities:
Administer the full accounts receivable cycle, including accurate invoicing, payment processing, and cash application.
Oversee billing operations to ensure timely and precise customer invoicing in accordance with company standards.
Execute commercial collections activities to resolve outstanding balances, while maintaining positive client relationships.
Monitor and reconcile cash transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Leverage proprietary software and reporting tools for all accounts receivable tasks and documentation.
Communicate effectively with internal departments and external clients to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
Maintain thorough records of all accounts receivable activities and prepare regular reports for management.
Analyze receivables data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and increase operational efficiency.
Support company financial objectives and adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements.
Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections.
• Proficiency in Excel at an intermediate level.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Familiarity with proprietary software systems or adaptability to learn new systems quickly.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of commercial collections processes and best practices.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
