Summary of Role:
Seeking a SoC Design Verification Engineer to verify the High-Performance Data Processing Unit Chiplets and Automotive Microcontrollers. The candidate will be responsible for contributing to all phases of the verification lifecycle, including reviewing specifications, developing testbench architecture, creating comprehensive verification plans, defining and closing coverage, and root-causing failures.
Essential Responsibilities:
Create verification plans for next-generation System-on-Chip designs
Hands-on development of testbenches, testcases and checkers to exercise and measure design behavior against specified intent
Use of digital simulation and debug tools to find and diagnose design issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve bugs
Other Responsibilities:
· Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
0-2 years of digital verification experience
Solid understanding of digital design fundamentals
Competency with HDL languages such as Verilog and SystemVerilog
Experience with scripting languages like Python, Tcl/Tk, Perl
Familiarity with running EDA design tools in a UNIX design environment
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven written and verbal technical communication skills.
Self-motivated, collaborative team player able to broadly contribute to project goals
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
Experience with RISC-V, ARM and/or MIPS CPU architecture
Skilled in C/C++ programming languages
Knowledge of formal verification tools and techniques
Proven ability to deliver solutions to complex problems
Strong time management skills
Expected Salary Range
$86,000.00 - $148,000.00
