CBRE Program Manager - Senior Manager in Richardson, Texas
About the Role:
As a CBRE Program Manager - Senior Manager, you will oversee a large team responsible for managing and implementing multiple detailed project schedules from proposal to implementation.
This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee product and product taxonomy, work in Aha (make sure taxonomy is right), help formalize charters, actively help develop real product performance measures (PPMs), help formalize how we operationalize PPMs (e.g., coverage statistic) showing how they reflect and report up to program health, support financial metrics and tracking
Help ensure teams are embracing the product approach (e.g., roadmaps, PPMs, product reviews, etc).
Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
Develop requirements and cost projections for high value projects.
Create training and development plans for more junior team members.
Prepare regular reports for executive management review.
Evaluate team operations and financial performance regularly. Suggest improvements on how to be more cost effective.
Assist with the creation of department budget.
Ensure all employees comply with company rules, policies, procedures, and regulations, while meeting established productivity targets.
Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.
Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity.
Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department.
Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline.

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. CSM, CSP or PSM certification required.
Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

• CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr Concierge position is $26.00 and the maximum salary for the Sr Concierge position is $32.00 per hour.
