Power Precision Electronics as a Production Operator
Location: Richardson, TX | Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:15AM – 4:00 PM | Pay: $21 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the electronics manufacturing industry to hire a skilled Production Operator . The Role & Your Impact
As a Production Operator, you will perform moderately complex manufacturing tasks including assembly, repair, modification, testing, and inspection of electronic products. Your work ensures that production schedules are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

What You’ll Do
Manufacturing & Assembly
Perform hand soldering and manual assembly of components.
Set up, operate, and maintain semi-automatic and automated assembly equipment.
Operate functional test units to validate product performance.
Move between operations and products based on production schedules.
Testing & Inspection
Inspect products using visual, automated, electronic, and mechanical procedures.
Use diagnostic programs to perform electronic and functional testing.
Troubleshoot routine or basic defects, escalate issues to Team Leader as needed.
Quality & Process Support
Follow product quality, soldering specifications, and quality improvement processes.
Maintain detailed, accurate, and organized production records.
Learn and apply established quality and quantity requirements for each product.
Apply knowledge of electrical, electromechanical, and pneumatic systems to support assembly and testing.
Communication & Teamwork
Communicate operational issues or defects effectively to supervisors and team members.
Demonstrate work methods to new employees as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production goals are met.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical coursework preferred
Three to five years of relevant experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly
Hands-on experience with assembly, testing, or repair of electronic products
Knowledge of product process flow, quality standards, and soldering specifications
Ability to operate both manual and automated assembly equipment
Strong visual attention to detail and manual dexterity
Basic computer skills and ability to learn manufacturing software applications
Ability to lift and handle materials as required, with sustained focus on detailed tasks
Preferred Qualifications
Additional technical training or certifications related to electronics manufacturing
Experience with functional testing and diagnostic equipment
Familiarity with manufacturing information systems
Ability to provide guidance or coaching to less experienced operators
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
