Pay based on training and prior experience
Full Time, 40 to 45 hours a week
First Shift
Monday-Friday
Minimum Requirements of employer:
Certificate or Diploma beyond High School required in related field
ASE Certification is required
No Vehicle Requested
Class D - Regular (Auto, Light Truck, Moped) Required
No Endorsement Required
18 or older Required
Read and comprehend instructions and information
Excellent oral and written skills
Able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily
Work comfortably with the public
Tidy, professional appearance
Current Driver's License with a good driving record
Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:
The Auto Service Technician is an experienced technician who is able to perform diagnoses and repairs, as needed.
Performs work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership standards
Diagnoses cause of malfunction and performs repairs.
Communicates with the Service Advisor to obtain needed parts for the repair.
Examine the assigned vehicle to determine if furth3er safety or service work is required or recommended.
Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
Road test vehicles when required.
