Job Title: Brake Press Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and running the brake press machine, interpreting drawings, using a tape measure, loading materials, and performing basic computer tasks. Safety is paramount in this role.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor brake press machines.
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Load and unload materials efficiently.
Utilize a tape measure for precision.
Ensure a safe working environment at all times.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in reading blueprints.
Experience with sheet metal and machine operation.
Familiarity with brake press machines such as Accupress and Wysong.
Prior experience in a metal manufacturing shop.
Ability to set up and operate CNC machines.
Competence with calipers and punch press.
Strong understanding of inspection procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior Brake Press Machine Operator experience is required.
Experience with Wysong or Accupress machines is preferred.
Previous experience in a metal manufacturing shop is advantageous.

Work Environment
The position is based in a non-climate controlled industrial machine shop environment. You will join a close-knit night shift production team of 10 people, within a larger team of 70 employees. Work hours are from 5 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, with Friday shifts from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Steel-toed shoes are mandatory for safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rhome, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
