Job Description:

Marshfield Clinic - Rhinelander Center is seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Rhinelander, Wisconsin . The NP or PA is a skilled member of the health team who provides medical and educational services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.

Position Details

This role will be a 4-day per week schedule. The day off is flexible and will be discussed with the team. We are looking for an experienced primary care PA or NP.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

For Nurse Practitioner's - Completion of a master’s, postmaster’s, or doctorate from an nurse practitioner program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. Current licensure by the applicable state board of nursing for advanced practice.

For Physician Assistant's - Master’s or Baccalaureate degree. Successful completion of a physician assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) or its predecessors. Successful completion of the national certifying examination and current certification given by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe controlled substances

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.

Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location).
