nVent Lean Coordinator in Reynosa, Mexico

The Lean Coordinator is responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, cost savings, and productivity improvement through the application of Lean methodologies. This role plays a key part in achieving financial and operational targets by driving Kaizen projects, standardizing Lean tools, and ensuring the sustainability of improvements across manufacturing and corporate processes.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Lead and manage Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects improving cost reduction, waste elimination, and enhancing operational efficiency.
Identify improvement opportunities through process analysis, Value Stream Mapping, and performance metrics.
Drive the achievement of savings targets by delivering measurable financial results from Lean initiatives.
Establish, implement, and standardize Lean methodologies and tools across manufacturing and corporate areas.
Ensure proper follow-up, tracking, and sustainability of implemented improvements.
Develop and supervise key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Lean projects, savings, and operational efficiency.
Support cross-functional teams in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
Promote a culture of Lean thinking and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Provide training and coaching on Lean principles and tools to employees at different interpersonal levels.
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management.
Advanced English is required.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement within manufacturing or corporate environments.
Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies (Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, 5S, Waste Reduction).
Proven ability to deliver measurable cost savings and productivity improvements.
Knowledge of Black Belt is desirable.
Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
