Aerotek Water Operator in Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania

Aerotek is hiring for a Water Operator with WEEKLY PAY!

DAY & NIGHT SHIFT

$16-$19/HR

Job Description

The Water Operator supports oil and gas field operations by monitoring water systems on active frac sites and ensuring equipment runs safely and efficiently. This role is tied to the Reynoldsville, PA and works on sites between Cranberry and Butler with a focus on areas such as Zelienople and toward Dubois. The position requires flexibility to work both day and night 12-hour shifts, including weekends, and typically involves 60–90 hours per week with work weeks.

Responsibilities

  • Staff active frac locations and remain stationed at pump stations throughout the shift.

  • Monitor tanks continuously to ensure proper levels, flow, and safe operation.

  • Set up and take down pumps, hoses, tanks, and related equipment according to site plans and safety procedures.

  • Load, unload, and identify materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to appropriate locations based on project plans and specifications.

  • Store and stack materials safely and in an organized manner to support efficient field operations.

  • Tend to pumps and generators, including starting, stopping, monitoring performance, and reporting any issues.

  • Clean and prepare construction and field sites to eliminate possible hazards and maintain a safe work area.

  • Operate hand and power tools as needed to support water transfer, construction, and general labor tasks.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in the oil and gas industry.

  • General labor experience with the ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods.

  • Knowledge of construction machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

  • Experience in construction.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in the energy or construction industry is a plus.

  • Background in landscaping, equipment operation, or yard work is beneficial.

  • Comfort working on oil and gas frac sites and in outdoor industrial environments.

  • Ability to operate pumps, generators, and related field equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Willingness to participate in a training period that includes shadowing a lead operator for approximately one week.

  • Readiness to travel between field sites tied to the Athens yard, including locations between Cranberry.

  • Openness to ride-sharing arrangements to and from work sites when available.

  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules, including potential work up to seven days per week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
