Position Description:

CGI has an immediate need for a Senior Systems Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest customers. This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to support enterprise data platforms and data-driven applications within a leading financial services environment. This role partners closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to define requirements, perform in-depth data analysis, and deliver high-quality, trusted data solutions.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical expertise, hands-on SQL experience, and a deep understanding of data lifecycle management within financial services—preferably the mortgage industry. This individual will play a critical role in translating complex business and technical needs into actionable requirements, ensuring alignment across product, business, and technology teams.

This position is hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days offsite) and based in Reston, VA. Remote candidates will not be considered.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. 6+ years of experience in systems and data analysis within financial services or banking environments

. Deep proficiency in SQL for complex data querying, validation, and analysis

. Experience documenting detailed functional requirements, including source-to-target mappings and data transformations

. Hands-on experience with data profiling, reconciliation, impact analysis, and dependency assessments

. Familiarity with enterprise data platforms and data modeling concepts

. Experience supporting end-to-end product or application lifecycle delivery

. Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence

. Experience collaborating with Product Owners and contributing to backlog refinement and roadmap planning

. Tableau development experience; Python experience is a plus

. Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

. Comfortable leading analysis efforts or owning major workstreams within complex initiatives

Education:

​Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field​​​​

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85,100.00 - $121,200.00.
