In this role, you will be responsible to embed GenAI into day-to-day sales and marketing activities – driving sales acceleration, improving organizational efficiency, enhancing working capital optimization, and reducing commercial friction by optimizing our dependency to 3rd party vendors. Designing and deploying AI/ML models that support crop and brand planning, sales acceleration, demand forecasting, program offers, pricing, promotion effectiveness, and customer segmentation.
Translating commercial strategy and fielding feedback into actionable AI use cases adopted by sales and marketing teams.
Partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Product leaders to embed AI output into workflows, tools, and decision processes.
Ensuring models are interpretable, scalable, and trusted for commercial execution.
Continuously improving models using performance feedback, market changes, and customer response data.

Hold a Master’s degree in computer science/data science/statistics with a strong focus on marketing (required).A Ph.D. in Computer Science and or marketing with strong focus on statistics (is a plus).
Possess 6 years’ experience in Machine Learning, AI Engineering or Applied Data Science with 2 years on hand-on experience delivering Generative AI solutions in production or scaled pilots.
Have a proven track record of translating business problems into AI use-cases that deliver measurable outcomes (e.g. revenue lift, cost reduction, spend optimization, automation).
Demonstrate experience supporting commercial functions such as Sales, Marketing, Commercial/Business Operations, or Finance with data- or AI- driven solutions.
Show deep understanding of Generative AI concepts including: LLMs; Prompt Engineering, knowledge graph and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG); and Fine-tuning and model orchestration.
Demonstrate knowledge of traditional ML techniques to complement GenAI (forecasting, predictions, classification, optimization).
Are familiar with AI evaluation frameworks, including accuracy, relevance, hallucination risk, and business impact measurement.
Show strong understanding of sales and marketing levers including customer segmentation, targeting, pricing, promotions, commercial spend effectiveness, demand variability, sales acceleration, etc.
Have the ability to link AI outputs to financial metrics such as revenue growth, margin optimization, inventory turns, cost reduction, etc.
Have knowledge of enterprise data ecosystems including structured and unstructured commercial data, and CRM, ERP, and marketing automation systems.
Are familiar with cloud-based AI platforms and deployment patterns.
Show understanding of data privacy, security, and responsible AI principles, especially in customer-facing or commercially sensitive use cases.
