Accrued time is available to use immediately! Hourly Pay Rate: $32.69 - $43.27 Position The Maintenance Mechanic performs building maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment. Repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as pneumatic tools, HVAC equipment, production machines, and other equipment. Maintenance Mechanic III will lead complex equipment repairs and upgrades, oversee preventative maintenance programs, and manage the spare parts inventory and work order system. This role ensures optimal equipment performance, mentors junior technicians, and contributes to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. High School Degree or GED preferred. Five years of previous experience performing basic maintenance repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical, under daily supervision. Preferred Qualifications: Experience reading, understanding, and following wiring schematics Experience repairing numerical control machines like CNC machines, ply cutters, and ultrasonic inspection systems Experience with compressed air systems An understanding of autoclaves, pressure vessels, and gas-fired batch equipment Familiarity with the use and maintenance of various pneumatic hand tools Experience with basic metal fabrication, cutting, and welding Working knowledge of dust collection equipment, HVAC, walk-in freezer,s and hydraulic systems Experience troubleshooting PLC controls Preferred Experience: Experience in CNC diagnostics and maintenance is strongly preferred More than 5 years of previous industrial maintenance experience performing basic maintenance repairs, including plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical under daily supervision Working Conditions: While performing typical duties of this job, production employees will experience the conditions noted below. PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment. Usually work indoors. These sites may not be temperature-controlled. Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels. Exposure to hazardous equipment. Exposure to contaminants. Shared workspaces with other employees. Requires handing objects of up to 50 lbs. Lifting pushing, pulling, and bending. Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift and overtime).
