Accrued time is available for immediate use; prorated first year Position The Laminator performs a variety of techniques to laminate composite components according to drawings and Standard Work Instruction (SWI). Responsibilities Include Lay-up composite materials on mandrels according to the manufacturing plan and standard work instructions (SWI); wrap mold with composite materials, in preparation for curing process, to form composite parts. Check for accuracy in all prior documentation of manufacturing planning; reporting all discrepancies and schedule concerns to the supervisor. Verify materials being used are according to manufacturing plan. Verify part ID tag and sign off on work performed. Adhere to schedules and time allowances, takt time, for production requirements. Experience One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience in composite manufacturing a plus. Preferred Qualifications Ability to read and understand detailed instructions and follow demonstrated steps. Basic understanding of process specifications. Acute attention to detail. Excellent hand-eye coordination. Excellent interpersonal skills. Basic math and computer skills.
