This role offers the opportunity to provide senior financial leadership that supports the financial strength and sustainability of Pharmacy - Clinical Shared Services within a complex healthcare environment. The Role The CFO, Pharmacy - Clinical Shared Services, is the senior finance leader responsible for enterprise pharmacy financial performance across inpatient and outpatient pharmacy, infusion services, 340B programs, and retail and specialty pharmacy operations. This executive leads the development of short and longterm financial strategies, identifies growth and optimization opportunities, and ensures disciplined financial execution across a multibilliondollar portfolio. The role serves as the single accountable executive for enterprise pharmacy financial performance, including direct P&L responsibility for Credena Health, LLC, alongside oversight of additional pharmacy service lines and programs. The portfolio encompasses complex revenue, inventory, rebate, 340B, and payer dynamics that require strong financial ownership and close operational partnership. This is an enterprise finance leadership role that sits at the intersection of patient access and the health system's largest opportunity for meaningful financial improvement. You will lead the financial strategy, performance management, and valuecreation agenda across Providence's integrated pharmacy portfolio-spanning acute, ambulatory, infusion, retail/specialty, and 340B/contract pharmacy. A defining element of this role is Credena, Providence's owned retail pharmacy platform, which approaches $1B in annual revenue-creates a rare opportunity to translate financial discipline into improved access, sustainability, and systemwide impact. Teams collaborate closely with patients, providers, and payers to address financial considerations, support medication access, and deliver highquality, patientcentered care. What You'll Do Oversee development of the budget and integrated strategic financial plan for medical and physician groups, including volumes, revenues, and expenses. Review and report on monthly financial statements and variances for divisions. Identify opportunities and make recommendations for productivity improvements, cost savings, and revenue enhancement initiatives. Develop and maintain benchmarks for financial and operational performance. Analyze and review monthly results for risk contracts against annual plans and forecasts. Develop, propose, and participate on negotiation teams related to physician compensation arrangements, as applicable. Oversee the timely and accurate implementation of physician compensation programs and arrangements, including payments to physicians; respond to and address compensation questions and reporting. Represent medical groups and physician services on committees and councils, as appropriate. Oversee and coordinate development of pro formas and projections for business ventures and partnerships; propose operational changes and strategies to support decisionmaking and budgeting.
