Join Allied Universal at a government location as a Front Desk Security Officer, where you will greet visitors, manage access, verify identification, monitor activity through systems and observations, and document security-related incidents. *MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: *

  • Have Security Experience - 6+ Months.
  • Be 21+ Years of Age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

Provide customer service at the front desk of a government location by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and visitor management requirements.

Monitor lobby activity, entry points, and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, radios, and/or access control, and document observed activity per post orders.

Greet and screen visitors, issue and track visitor credentials, verify identification as required, and direct guests to appropriate departments or contacts.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiate notifications, and support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures.

Complete required reports, logs, and shift handoffs, including incident documentation, lost and found entries, and maintenance or service requests communicated by staff and/or visitors.
