SUMMARY: The HR Supervisor is responsible for directly supporting Human Resources leadership by overseeing the Human Resources Representatives in day-to-day operations.
MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 21 years of age. High School diploma or G.E.D. Must be able to obtain a license through the Gaming Control Board. Minimum of one year previous HR experience. Working knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel. Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Be organized, flexible and able to handle multiple priorities. Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish preferred.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Answers telephones in a timely and courteous manner, responding to general inquiries, taking messages, and referring callers to the appropriate person. Supervise daily activities of the Human Resources Representatives. Partner with Human Resources Operations Manager on staff assignments, training, and performance of HR representatives. Identify ways to streamline and improve processes. Review incoming forms for completion, accuracy, and approvals. Process all data entry including new hires, rehires, terminations, transfers, salary changes, performance reviews and license and training updates. Manage gaming registration process by assisting new hires and employees to complete the gaming license process. Responsible for electronically indexing paperwork. Assist with the daily management of the online applicant tracking system, ensuring applications are distributed in a timely fashion and reaching out to applicants as needed. Maintain and/or assign opening and closing duties of HR representatives; to ensure all required tasks are being completed. Prepares and submits daily and weekly reports. Assists in other areas of HR.
