*SUMMARY: *Machine Operator 1 can tend to and feed materials into a machine and make necessary measurements to verify part quality. Machine operator 1 will begin training to complete changeovers or setups to equipment but would do so with supervision by a higher-level operator or trainer. This would transition into completing these tasks independently.
MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Requirements:
- Must have High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent work Experience
- Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10 hours in a shift
- Must be able to perform repetitive motion using arms, hands, and wrists.
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Must have good mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to consistently lift up to 25lbs independently
- Must be able to team lift up to 100lbs

*JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: *Primary Responsibilities (essential functions):
- Ability to independently follow safety procedures
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and visual work instructions
- Operate equipment with minimal support beyond initial training
- Able to maintain product throughput requirements
- Perform basic machine maintenance on equipment as trained
Secondary Responsibilities (marginal functions):
- Able to interpret part drawings
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Able to use basic tools to ensure parts meet quality standards
- Record measurements of checked parts in spreadsheet as required
Working Conditions:
- 8-10 hours standing and moving
