Job Summary:

The Computer Network Support -- Level 1 is responsible for analyzing, testing, troubleshooting, and evaluating existing network systems, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), cloud networks, servers, and other data communications networks. They will perform maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption and provide technical support to end users. They will adhere to all Bandit safety, quality, inventory and production guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement and support IT initiative.
• Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, servers, network equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot network issues and provide solutions on how to solve them.
• Maintain and update internal knowledge base of procedural and technical information, adhering to updates in policies, procedures, and new technology.
• Provide proactive monitoring and data collection of systems and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software and other technology related issues.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Skills in databases, data processes, program architect, and data security
• High school diploma or GED
• Two (2) or more years of experience in IT related position

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently sit for extended periods of time
• Occasionally stand, walk, push, pull, stoop, pinch, grasp, and/or bend
• Requires employee to work both inside/outside in heat/cold, and/or wet/humid conditions.
• Occasionally required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent injury.
• Occasionally lift 30 pounds
