What You Can Expect
Provides enterprise-level leadership for Scientific Communications. Functions as a strategic leader who may oversee managers and team members or serve in a senior individual contributor capacity. Helps own governance, strategy, and integrated execution across portfolios to ensure high-impact, compliant dissemination of scientific evidence.
How You'll Create Impact
Helps define enterprise-level strategy, governance, and standards for scientific communications and publications
Owns global publication strategy, authorship governance, and evidence dissemination frameworks
Oversees prioritization, resource allocation, and risk management across portfolios
Ensures alignment of communications strategy with regulatory, clinical, and commercial objectives
Serves as executive advisor on scientific messaging, data positioning, and publication ethics
Represents Scientific Communications in executive governance and external scientific forums
Drives enterprise process standardization, inspection readiness, and compliance oversight
Develops long-term capability strategy and succession planning within the function
Leads innovation in scientific dissemination, digital publication practices, and AI-enabled review tools

Education and Experience
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualification: Degree in Life Sciences, Communications, or related field
Preferred Qualification: 8+ years in scientific communications or medical writing, with a minimum of 4 years demonstrated leadership capability.
