CTG Application Developer – Java & Mobile Support in Remote, United States
CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer – Java & Mobile Support position for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
Develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications using Core Java and modern frameworks.
Provide development and production support for native mobile applications in live environments.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with mobile and web applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, perform bug fixes, and optimize application performance.
Support on-site production operations when required, including coordination with lab or retail locations.
Manage application releases, including deployment, version control, updates, and rollbacks.
Publish and monitor applications through Google Play Console.
Manage app signing, certificates, and provisioning profiles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile development environments.
Maintain source code repositories and follow version control best practices.
Skills:
Strong development experience with Java EE, Core Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
Experience with RESTful services and backend integration
Front-end experience with Angular, JSP, JavaScript
Database experience with MS SQL
Cloud/container experience with Azure AKS
ORM technologies such as Hibernate and data access using JDBC
Version control tools: Git, GitHub, or GitLab
Knowledge of mobile application lifecycle, publishing, and monitoring via Google Play Console
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience:
5+ years of application development experience using Java-based technologies
Hands-on experience supporting production applications and resolving high-priority issues
Experience with mobile application release management and production support
Experience working in Agile, collaborative development environments
Experience with performance tuning and application troubleshooting in distributed systems
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $48.00 to $57.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
