CTG Application Architect - Project & Program Delivery in Remote, United States
CTG is seeking to fill an Application Architect – Project & Program Delivery position for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months
Duties:
Lead the architecture and technical design for complex application initiatives within enterprise project and program delivery environments.
Partner with project managers, product owners, and business stakeholders to align application architecture with program objectives and strategic goals.
Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures.
Provide architectural guidance across multiple concurrent projects to ensure consistent standards, patterns, and governance.
Support program delivery by collaborating with cross-functional teams including development, QA, infrastructure, and operations.
Apply structured project delivery methodologies and frameworks to ensure predictable outcomes and high-quality solutions.
Incorporate modern delivery approaches such as Agile, Lean, Organizational Change Management (OCM), and Design Thinking into solution planning and execution.
Conduct architecture reviews and ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Identify and mitigate technical risks that could impact program delivery timelines or outcomes.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills:
Strong expertise in enterprise application architecture and solution design.
Experience aligning architecture strategies with project and program delivery frameworks.
Knowledge of modern delivery methodologies including Agile, Lean, Design Thinking, and Organizational Change Management (OCM).
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for business stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities.
Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns, cloud architectures, and scalable system design.
Experience with architecture governance, documentation, and best practices.
Experience:
Demonstrated experience delivering complex application architecture solutions within large-scale project and program environments.
Proven capability to manage and deliver initiatives using standard project management techniques and delivery methodologies.
Experience supporting cross-functional teams and aligning technical delivery with business priorities.
Experience applying Lean principles, Agile frameworks, Organizational Change Management (OCM), and Design Thinking to solution delivery.
Experience working in enterprise IT environments with multiple stakeholders and distributed teams.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Advanced degree or relevant architecture or project management certifications (e.g., TOGAF, PMP, SAFe, Agile certifications) preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $120.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
