CTG ADMS Power System Engineer in Remote, United States
CTG is seeking an ADMS Power System Engineer to support our client in distribution network modeling, ADMS integration, and advanced application analysis.
Location: Remote
Duration: 2 years
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct power-flow and circuit analysis; resolve network issues.
Develop and validate ADMS models for substations, underground networks, and DERs.
Integrate ADMS with SCADA and validate power-flow convergence.
Support advanced applications: FLISR, VVO, VVC, CVR.
Maintain GIS/CIM network models and ensure accurate asset topology.
Automate data validation and model updates using SQL and Python.
Required Skills & Tools:
3–5 years’ experience as a Power Engineer (distribution networks & OT).
ADMS expertise (AspenTech OSI) and SCADA integration.
Familiarity with CYME, OSI power-flow, and capacity mapping.
GIS/CIM modeling and asset connectivity.
Knowledge of IEC 61970/61968, DNP3, ICCP standards.
Scripting in SQL and Python for data management.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Education:
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field (advanced degrees a plus), or equivalent experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $105,000 to $115,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefits package is also offered.
